The Russian Chamber Orchestra Society
The Russian Chamber Orchestra Society is a non-profit California Corporation formed as a result of an association of adherents of beautiful music who, after hearing the exquisite level of excellence and intonation presented by this group of musicians, became enthusiastic patrons.
Alexander Vereshagin, music director, composer, arranger and conductor, and superb piano artist, had arrived at a place where a support organization would assist him to achieve his goal to present concerts to the community on a regular basis.
As a small, devoted group bringing together a wide range of talents and experiences, RCOS is committed to help this endeavor. Our corporate non-profit, tax-exempt status was obtained in mid 1999, a slate of officers was selected, and a fledgling membership formed.
Officers of the RCOS are residents of Marin County and active in many areas of the community. You will be meeting them at our receptions and you are invited to contact any of them for further information about the Society and about future programs.
The current Board of Directors includes:
Mauna Arnzen, President
Warner Jepson, Vice President
Shelley Winn, Secretary
Roger Bohl, Treasurer
Support by our friends is, as we all know, essential to defray costs that ticket sales alone cannot cover. We ask that you consider becoming a member.
